figure much into the mix this year
like it usually does. The wet stuff
did come down Tuesday evening
for a bit, but that was about it.

a season full of qualifiers—the

running of the Amateur
National Motocross Champion-
ship came to another successful
conclusion. Thousands of racers
took to the track in hopes of
capturing at least one of just 38
championship titles that were up
for the taking.
This year's edition came and
went fairly smoothly. Weather
can and usually does play a ma-
jor factor at Loretta Lynn's, and
this year's race was no excep-
