GRAFFUNDER, HAAKER CASH IN AT MRP ENDUROCROSS
K
lim Racing and MRP Endurocross gave off-
road racers 10,000 good reasons to trek north
to Coeur D'Alene, Idaho for their 2015 Enduro-
cross race. The pro purse attracted a lot of talent,
including AMA EnduroCross regulars Geoff Aaron,
Colton Haaker, Kyle Redmond, Cory Graffunder
and Kevin Rookstool, all of whom gathered for the
annual two-night event.
The Pro 1 and Pro 2 classes on each night
(each with two motos) gave racers eight opportu-
nities to take on the endurocross-style track. Boul-
ders, logs, rocks and tires made up the course,
but the most daunting obstacle of all proved to be
the massive mud pit. SRT KTM rider Cory Graf-
funder put his mud-riding skills to good use and
topped four of the eight "motos" at Coeur D'Alene.
Haaker piloted his Lucas Oil Rockstar Energy
Husqvarna to three wins while Beta USA's Kyle
Redmond helped himself to the final win.

CHAMPIONS
CROWNED AT
LORETTA LYNN'S
A
fter five days of bar-banging and close racing in
Hurricane Mills, Tennessee, 38 champions were
crowned at the 2015 Rocky Mountain ATV/MC AMA
Amateur National Motocross Championship.
Big winners included Jett Reynolds, who
dominated the 85cc ranks, Hannah Hodges
who swept the Girls Sr. class, and Garrett
Marchbanks, big winner of the Super Mini
divisions.
The fastest lap time of the week belonged to
AMSOIL Honda rider Tristan Charboneau.
The 2014 AMA Motocross Amateur Rider award
winner was on his way to the 450 A champion-
ship, but unfortunately suffered a mechanical
issue and DNF the final moto. Charboneau's mis-
fortune left the door wide open for Bradley Taft,
who captured the win with his 3-1-2 score.
Yamaha's Benny Bloss took the Open Pro
Sport win, and also took home the coveted AMA
Horizon Award. Three other prestigious specialty
awards were presented to hardworking riders,
including the AMA Motocross Youth Rider Award,
which went to Jett Reynolds. Reynolds swept
all six motos in the 85cc (9-11) and 85cc (9-11)
Limited divisions. The AMA Motocross Amateur
Rider Award went to Austin Forkner, who topped
the 250 B and Schoolboy 2 classes. Former
Motocross World Champion Sebastian Tortelli was
presented with the AMA Motocross Vet/Senior
Rider Award.
Tortelli and Robby Reynard highlighted the ultra-
competitive Vet ranks. Tortelli bested Reynard in
the Vet 35+. Both riders also competed in the
Junior 25+ class, but it was Ricky Renner who
took the championship. In the 30+ class, Paul
Perebijnos took the big win.
