2015 HONDA INTERCEPTOR VFR800F
QUICKSPIN
P90
The new generation VFR800F
returned with some major up-
dates. The side-mounted radia-
tors were moved to the front, it
got updated styling and digital
instruments, LED headlight,
taillight and accent lighting, new
single-side low-exit exhaust
(replacing the dual under-the-seat
exhausts), a new single-sided
swingarm, aluminum subframe
and new 10-spoke wheels. It
retains its 782cc, 90-degree
V-4 VTEC engine, but it took on
some noteworthy revisions. It got
new camshaft profiles, retuned
exhaust, revised fuel mapping and
tweaks to its VTEC system, where
it runs on two valves per cylinder
at low rpm and four valves per cyl-
inder at higher engine speeds. In
theory, this is supposed to boost
both low-end torque and high-end
performance.
