With our 2014 test bike, we generally bounced back and forth between the Standard and Aggressive modes. Smooth mode only came into play for extreme conditions, like when the surface was bone dry, hard- packed and ridiculously slick. Even then, standard mode usu- ally did the trick. Smooth mode is almost too smooth. Honda still offers its HRC Fuel Injection Set- ting Tool (sold separately $349) for customizing the internal maps/fueling.
