Braking power from the Brembo-equipped front is noth- ing flashy—there's plenty of it on hand and lots of feel via the nicely machined, black, span- adjustable aluminum lever—and when combined with the solidity of the electronically-equipped (if you buy the option) telescopic front end you can bury the front surprisingly deep into corners on full suspension travel and brake power and still get through a cor- ner unscathed. Not a small portion in this machine's stupendous stabil- ity comes down to the optional electronic suspension (D-ESA) that changes the damping rates on the fly of both the fork and shock. The system uses a lean angle sensor in the optional Ride Modes Pro package and is constantly monitoring what you're doing, what the road surface is, how far you're leaned over, brake pressure and accel- eration.
