As teams and riders filed in and set up camp at the Washougal site on Friday, they were greeted with sunny skies and beautiful weather, but like the locals always say, just wait an hour. This time, they waited a day and things did change. Saturday turned wet and grey, leaving the always tricky Washougal track—even in the best of conditions—into a muddy mess.
