delivered a podium weekend and
in race one his second place was
hard earned, with Rea in such
close attendance with him. He
also admitted that Davies was on
great race-day form.

Joked Rea after race one. "That
was not a bad result because I
rode really well and I am happy
with the way I rode. This is a
World Championship, so to stand
on the podium is great. Unfor-
tunately it is the worst result of
the year and third is no mean
feat. It puts the previous part of
the season in perspective a little
bit. I have not felt comfortable all
weekend but when you think that
we are now one round closer to
Lucky number seven… Davies scored his seventh-career win.
Davies teammate (34) came
out on top in the b attle with
Torres (81) in race one.
