Cervantes—a stalwart in the FIM World Enduro Championship—is signed through 2016, while 14-year-old off-road sensation, Prado, will be on the orange team through 2020. Four-time Enduro World Champion Ivan Cervantes was with KTM up until 2010, and then spent the next two years aboard a Gas Gas in the World and Spanish Enduro Champion- ships. Cervantes returned to orange machines in 2013, and was a runner-up in the E3 divi- sion of the WEC in the 2014 sea- son. The Red Bull rider will now continue his racing efforts with the factory team through 2016. Cervantes has often spoken of his career goal of racing in the Dakar Rally, and Alex Dor- inger, KTM Division Manager of Enduro and Rally, confirmed that Cervantes recently tested the KTM 450 RALLY bike. Doringer added that there is a chance Cervantes will contest the 2016 running of the Dakar, but with the KTM Spain team as a stepping-stone to the factory rally team. Prado is the newest member of the KTM Factory Racing team. The young teenager has a number of World and European titles to his name, including the 65cc Championship and 85cc Championship. Prado is cur- rently contesting the EMX 125 division where he is one of the top contenders in the class. "We aim for excellence not just in the current season, but in the long term," said KTM Motorsports Director Pit Beirer.
