2015 HARLEY-DAVIDSON STREET 750 QUICKSPIN P126 make quick overtakes at 60-plus mph. The suspension on the Street 750 is soft, especially when you're on the heaver side of rider weight. It does pro- vide a plush ride at low speeds, but when speeds pick up and riding crosses over to the spirited side, both the front and rear suspension blow through the stroke easily and are less than stable. Keep an eye out for potholes as well or you'll be greeted with a harsh bottoming out of the front fork. There's another side to the Street 750 that will no doubt give it a bright future, maybe not in the U.S., but definitely in the foreign market. The Street line of Harley-Davidson offers an excel- lent platform for customization underneath its basic outer shell. We recently attended one of the biggest motorcycle shows of the year (Born Free 7) and saw first-hand what is possible with the Street thanks to the guys at Speed Mer- chant and their trick dirt tracker inspired build using Harley's 749cc liquid- cooled, Revolu- tion X V-twin engine. Overseas, the Street 750 has already started to make an impact as cool customs from countries like India and Malaysia have already started to pop up. Without a doubt the Street 750 is geared towards the smaller rider who lives in the big city and is looking for something easy to ride. The Street 750 probably isn't the best choice for someone who logs a lot of miles on the freeway, but the bike wasn't designed for that type of riding. Die-hard Harley-Davidson customers probably won't con- sider the Street a "real" Harley but the out-of-the-box thinking with this new age urban model mirrors what has made Harley- Davidson a successful company over the years.
