H
arley-Davidson's latest offer-
ing probably isn't what you'd
expect from the Milwaukee
masters. The new Street 750
has a whole new mindset and
was built specifically to easily
navigate through crowded urban
environments around the globe.
City riding or gridlock traffic is
the last place you'd want to find
yourself while on a traditional
Harley, but that's where the
Street 750 is most at home.
The Sportster no longer has
the title as being the entry-level
motorcycle in the H-D line-up,
which now belongs to the Street
models. Both (the 500 and 750)
are small motorcycles by U.S.
standards with the 750's wheel-
base at 60.4 inches, the seat
height 28.0 inches, and smaller
than normal wheel sizing (17/15
inch). With my height topping out
A Harley for the
masses. The
Street 750 will
likely find favor
with a series of
new riders.
