Bradley Smith on the Monster
Yamaha, obliged to fend off
compatriot Cal Crutchlow for
a spell, before the CWM-LCR
Honda rider—injured in practice
the day before—lost touch, six
seconds away at the end.
Second Pramac Ducati
rider Danilo Petrucci had come
through in the early stages, and
was ahead of Monster Yamaha's
Pol Espargaro for eighth for a
spell, and less than a second
It was a fierce
battle for 10th
between Suzuki
teammates Aleix
Espargaro (41)
and Maverick
Vinales (25).
