Michelin's new off-road/motocross tire features
Adaptive Casing Technology (ACT), which can
reduce tire rebound and augment the motor-
cycle's suspension to help reduce rider fatigue.
The latest StarCross 5 is 15-percent lighter than
the previous versions, for less unsprung mass
for better wheel control and improved accelera-
tion and braking. The tires come in four ver-
sions: hard, medium, soft and sand/mud.
