IN THE WIND P36 RAGA ROLLS ON AT TRIAL OF ANDORRA G as Gas rider Adam Raga took another upset win at the Trial of Andorra, besting Toni Bou for the second consecu- tive round of the 2015 FIM Trial World Championship. Raga once again capitalized on mis- takes from Bou to capture the win—on both days—in Sant Julia de Loria. On the first day of competition at the Grand Prix of Andorra—the sixth stop of the championship— Bou led the way up until the final lap. A couple of uncharacteristic mistakes by Bou in the closing stages allowed Raga to end the day six points ahead of his rival. The second day in Andorra didn't go any better for Bou, who continued to struggle. Er- rors and frustration plagued the defending World Champion's efforts, while Raga continued to shine. "The trial got off to a tough start when I picked up a five in the second section," Bou commented. "There were a few moments when it looked like I could pull it off, but in the end, it wasn't to be. And when it's not meant to be, the best you can hope for are the runner- up points, because I almost finished in third place. Adam [Raga] has really been strong here and I know that it will be really hard to beat him in the coming races, which is why all the consecutive wins and the advantage up until now are so important." Third place went to Sherco's Albert Cabestany, who put in a strong performance in Andorra and nearly edged out Bou for the runner-up position. Despite his frustrating week- end, Bou continues to lead the championship with a comfort- able gap of 28 points. The series is now through the thick- est part of the season, as five rounds have taken place in the last six weeks. Competitors now get a few weeks off before the championship resumes later this month with the U.S. round at Stepping Stone Ranch in Rhode Island. Three stops still remain in the 2015 World Championship, and Bou and Raga are no doubt in for a fight to the finish.
