FZ-07 TRACER COMING?
Y
amaha's hugely popular FZ-
07 looks like it will become
the latest machine to be trans-
formed into a sport touring weap-
on, with a camouflaged proto-
type seen testing around the hills
of Italy recently.
Yamaha has made no secret
of its desire to create a series of
machines using the FZ-07 as its
base, and the sales success of
the FZ-09 Tracer has apparently
spurred the company to fast
forward development of the FZ-
07 derivative for the 2016 model
year.
The FZ-07 is not
expected to be vastly
altered for its debut
as a Tracer model,
with a single seat
(similar to the FZ-09
Tracer), revised rear
subframe and foot-
pegs, as well as a
different handlebar,
top fairing and screen
expected to be the
major changes.

CHRIS BACH TAKES
ON WORLD ENDURO
T
aking advantage of the break in the GNCC
season, American racer Chris Bach is head-
ing overseas where he will compete in the Grand
Prix of Belgium. In his career-first attempt in the
FIM Enduro World Championship, Bach will com-
pete alongside Alex Salvini as a guest of the Team
Honda RedMoto Zanardo. Through the help of Fly
Racing, the JCR Honda squad rider will compete
in the E2 division aboard a CRF450R.
Bach is looking forward to gaining experience
in the Enduro World Championship, with the add-
ed benefit of strengthening the Honda off-road
presence on the global scale, as JCR Racing's
Johnny Campbell points out.
