VOL. 52 ISSUE 27 JULY 7, 2015 P107 Briefly... Last year's GNC2 (Pro Singles) champ Kyle Johnson took a heavy fall in timed qualifying coming out of turn four at triple-digit speed. Parkinson Brother's Racing's Craig Parkinson reported that Johnson was taken to the hospital by car to have a scan done to make sure he was okay. "It's a shame because up to that point Kyle [Johnson] was having a great day," Parkinson said. "He came out of four and low-sided it. The back end kind of slipped out on him. At that speed it doesn't take much to bump your head. I'm sure Kyle will bounce back strong." Nichole Mees qualified for her third national in 2015. Her eighth-place finish on the Black Hills Harley-Da- box. He topped the charts in timed qualifying Saturday eve- ning.
