eta's 2016 line of RR off-road
four- and two-strokes feature a few
significant updates for the new
model year.
Last year, the 350 RR was the only
Beta four-stroke model with fuel injec-
tion, now they all have EFI: 350 RR,
390 RR, 430 RR and 480 RR. The
four-strokes also take on many chang-
es to improve power efficiency. The
430 and 480 have new intake ports,
and the 480 has a new exhaust cam.
Beta also raised the rev limier of the
350 from 12,500 rpm to 13,000 rpm.
The 350 and 390 get new DLC-
treated oil rings, a new oil pressure
valve, and a new shift detent lever for
smoother shifting. They also get a new
tri-phase 18 pole electric ignition for
quicker battery charging.
They frame is new, as well. It's de-
rived from the 2015 Racing model and
there is now a plastic skid plate.
The fork has been updated internally,
the fuel tank is now translucent, and
the enduro meter has been upgraded,
as well.
The four-stroke RR models will be
available at dealerships in October.
MSRP: 350 RR $9399; 390 RR
$9399; and 480 RR $9499.
