BOU FALLS, RAGA WINS AT
FRENCH WORLD TRIAL
A
fter the first day of the French
Trial Grand Prix in Andon,
(June 27-28), and a nearly flaw-
less performance by Toni Bou,
it looked as though the Repsol
Honda rider was simply without
equal in the 2015 FIM Trial World
Championship. But on day two
at the Trial of France, the Span-
ish rider stunned everyone with
an uncharacteristic error, and a
fall on his second lap. Despite a
clean third lap, the blunders cost
Bou the overall win, and it was
Gas Gas rider Adam Raga who
stole the overall victory by four
points. It marked Raga's first vic-
tory of the season, and his 10
th
career victory at the French Trial.
Bou went on to collect sec-
ond on the day, and still retains
a firm grasp on the champion-
ship. Beta-mounted Jeroni Fajar-
do completed the podium with a
third-place finish while Takahisa
Fujinami and Albert Cabestany
rounded out the top-five.
"It was a shame," Bou said of
his crash. "The second lap was
poor and I wasn't able to recover
from the mistakes made. I went
into section six too quickly and
fell in section 12.
"Today, Adam had a chance
in an easy trial, which was better
suited to him than me. It was
bound to happen some day. I
will be fighting 100 percent of
the way in Andorra and hopefully
the fall won't affect me."

He's human after all. A fall on day two
at the Trial of France put a stop to
Toni Bou's perfect season.
