JAB MOTOR-
SPORTS PULLS OUT
I
t appears that TwoTwo Motorsports isn't the only
motocross team to bow out early. JAB Motors-
ports is evidently done as well.
This made news when the team's rider Matt
Lemoine announced on Instagram: "Sucks to say
this and really upsets me but the JAB Motorsports
crew will not be racing the remaining rounds of
the outdoor series due to financial issues. I can't
thank all my sponsors [enough] who have stood
behind me no matter what and gonna take this
time and get ready for what the future holds."
Lemoine competed in the 2015 250 East
Supercross Series where he finished fifth at the
series opener in Arlington, Texas. After that, he
went 7-12 at the next two rounds before pulling out
of the series with an injury.
He returned for the outdoors nationals in the
450 class. Up until the latest round at Budds
Creek, his best moto finish was 14
th
at Muddy
Creek, and he was 20
th
in the championship. He
did not compete at Budds Creek.
WHAT'S NEXT FOR JOSH GRANT?
J
osh Grant is one of the
casualties of the collapse of
the TwoTwo Motorsports Team
and it appears that his future is
very much up in the air right now
based on an Instagram that he
posted last week.
The post read: "Chad and El-
lie—As a fellow business owner, I
respect your decision to do what
is best for your family. Thank you
for the opportunity to further my
career and helping me achieve
my most consistent Supercross
season thus far."
Grant followed that up with
a second post: "To my fans—I
don't know what the future holds
for me. I'm not sure I'll be racing
a motorcycle next year. Maybe
my crash before Hangtown [and]
knee injury in Colorado are a
sign that this is the way things
are supposed to unravel. Thank
you for keeping me going the
past four years. Ashley and I
trust God's plan for us and have
managed to stay calm and let
our faith guide us through and to
our next chapter in life. We will
