Through the disappointment,
Herrin was able to find a positive

trous Moto2 experience last

"But it was still a fun race," he
said. "I know the old me would
have freaked out and thrown a
little fit so I was kind of happy
that I stayed calm without even
trying. It wasn't like I was trying
to prove something but when I
came in I was kind of shocked
that I didn't get as mad as I used
to. I guess maybe that's part of
growing up, but then also having
such a crappier last year that it's
not much. It's real hard to make
something worse than the way
last year went."
With the championship a
distant hope, Herrin's game plan
now—focus on wins.
"I don't know if it's possible
and there's only four races left—
three rounds, but I guess four
races," he said. "Something
magical would have to happen
but we're for sure going to go
and try and get wins." CN
