SUPERSPORT MOTOAMERICA AMA/FIM NORTH AMERICAN ROAD RACING CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 6/JUNE 26-28, 2015 MILLER MOTORSPORTS PARK/TOOELE, UTAH P112 ROBERTS RULES No matter what you threw at Joe Roberts at Miller Motorsports Park, the end result was the same—winning. The Wheels In Motion/Motorsport. com/Meen Yamaha, once again, dominated the Superstock 600 class, pulling off the double—his eighth win this season and extending his champi- onship lead over Richie Escalante by 37 points. "I really love this track," Roberts said. "It's one of my favorites we come to. It's really, I'd say a rider's track. You have to be super fast and flowy through these corners. You can't really treat it like Barber or anything where you're charging the corners all the time. It's very much just keeping the flow and keeping a cool head around here." Roberts certainly kept his cool over the hot weekend in Tooele, Utah. The Californian amassed a healthy lead in race one, only to start from scratch again in a five-lap sprint. In the end, it was still Roberts with the win. Behind Roberts was Michael Gil- berts on the HB Racing Yamaha (his first-ever podium), and Tuned Racing Yamaha's Bryce Prince. While the red flag was a headache for Roberts it was a lucky break for Escalante, who was dropping back through the pack due to an over- heating issue. The restart allowed Gerloff (31), Josh Herrin (2) and Bobby Fong (50) battled for the remaining podium spots.
