good relationship where I come
off the track and he says, "It
looks like the bike is doing this,"
and I'm like, "Yep, it is." He just
makes the change and half the
time I don't even tell him what to
change, he just makes the right
changes and we go forward.
That's been fun and we've had
a lot of fun this year in general
working with him and it makes a
big difference.
Did the second-place at
Sacramento change the goals
for the team this year?
Yes and no. Obviously that
kind of finish makes you want
to continue to do good, but I
went into the season not really
expecting to be in contention
for the championship… more
or less developing a motorcycle
and trying to make it competi-
tive. So to already be there in a
sense, especially on the Miles,
that's cool, but at the same
time we've got a lot to learn on
the Half-Miles. I still don't think
we're going to be a champion-
ship team this year, but our new
goal is to win a race. So we went
