A
fter giving the RM-Z450 a significant overhaul last
year (2015), Suzuki gave the RM-Z250 some loving
for 2016. According to Suzuki, the RM-Z250 took
on over 80 internal changes, including a new frame and a
new KYB PSF2 air fork. It also gets the three-mode launch
control system—S-HAC (Suzuki Holeshot Assist Control),
which made its debut on the 450 last year.
Suzuki claims that the RM-Z250 has a wider range of
power delivery, reduced engine braking, improved start-
ing and increased durability and reliability. They also claim
handling is improved and overall weight reduced.
