fortune. "AC" carded an outdoor
career best second-place finish
in moto one, but after hitting
neutral in the corner right after
the start of the second moto, his
work was cut out for him.
He followed up his first-moto
second with a second-moto 12
for sixth overall.
"I feel like I have more to give,
and being up front is kind of dif-
ferent after being on the couch
for so long," said Cianciarulo re-
garding his early-season injury.
"The second moto, I actually had
a really good jump off the gate, I
just hit neutral in the corner and
was way back in the pack. Then
I got taken out on the first lap,
which is unfortunate, but after
that I never really got going and
wasn't gelling with the track so
well, but yeah that one was on
me. I didn't come through like I
should."
Cianciarulo's teammate Joey
Savatgy nipped him for fifth over-
all. Savatgy went 6-3, edging out
Cianciarulo by one point. CN
