LUCAS OIL AMA PRO MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP
ROUND 3 / MAY 30, 2015
THUNDER VALLEY / LAKEWOOD, COLORADO
P98
crash," said Musquin. "And I
could have ended the day right
there, and maybe the season."
Like Tomac, Musquin caught
the edge of a rut and went side-
ways, got a kick and went flying,
landing so hard that it shattered
his neck brace.
"I hurt my wrist a little bit," Mus-
quin added. "It was really sore to
bend backward and my hand was
numb so it was hard to feel it and
to use the muscles on the arm.
It got better and I was able to get
some good laps at the end and
actually get some points. That
was the most important thing to
do. I know it's a bummer but at
least we got points."
In the second moto, Musquin
said it was mentally tough to go
back out there and race after
his crash in the first moto. "But
then I got a decent start and
then I got into second place
really quick and I was trying to
follow Jeremy. And actually he
was pulling me away a little bit
but not too bad, considering the
track, my crash and everything.
It wasn't too bad. So to get sec-
ond place in the second moto,
it's a good thing. And I never re-
ally liked this track and then this
year it was really, really rutted
and then so rough inside those
ruts. It was really tough." CN
