t goes without saying that Eli Tomac
has been on fire since the Lucas Oil
AMA Pro Motocross Series kicked
off at Hangtown three weeks ago. After
sweeping all four motos at Hangtown
and Glen Helen, no one really expected
his competition to have much of a
chance against the GEICO Honda rider
at the True Value Thunder Valley Na-
tional in Lakewood, Colorado. After all,
it's tough to derail someone who is on
a hot streak like Tomac is on right now,
let alone stop them on their home track.
