whether one of the Superstock
1000 riders can best the Super-
bikes and get in the top three
overall. Many look at RoadRace
Factory's Jake Gagne to be that
guy—he's won every race he's
finished (in the Superstock 1000
classification) so far this season,
and he carried on that trend at
Road America.
While finishing fourth and fifth
isn't ideal, the nature of Road
America's four-mile long track
with long straights, meant that
the Superstock machines were
no match for the Superbikes,
and Gagne made the best out of
it to expand his points lead.
"It's really good to end both
races on the podium," Gagne
said. "Awesome track and good
racing. I can't complain. We
went forward every session.
These guys [Superbikes] were
hauling. We're a bit off from them
but I think with a bit more time
on the bike and getting used to
these tires. I like them a lot. We
can get a bit closer and hope-
fully some time we'll be fighting
