a machine of this caliber, I'd
have loved to have seen at least
preload adjustability on the fork
just so heavier riders can dial in
a bit of resistance. There is fair
bit of dive under braking so it
would have been nice to get rid
of some of that.
Also the front brakes don't feel
up to the chassis' amazing turn
speed and lack the immediate
bite I would likeāit'll be interest-
ing to see how they perform on
a racetrack under super hard,
repeated braking with fearless
teenagers in the RC390 Cup.
Having switchable ABS is an
absolute bonus for the KTM
over the Yamaha but the lack of
initial bite is concerning. Light
mid-corner braking is good, as
is the power from the rear brake,
but I'd like more action from the
front.
