otoAmerica's Supers-
port race one and two
at Road America in
Elkhart Lake Wisconsin couldn't
be more different. In the end it
resulted in snake eyes for the
championship's top contenders—
Josh Herrin and JD Beach—as
they split wins on the weekend
and left Wisconsin tied in points.
Race one was a tale of sur-
vival. With tough conditions in
the wet, it wasn't just about win-
ning, it was about keeping it on
two wheels. And that was exactly
what Wheels In Motion/Mo-
torsport.com/Meen Yamaha's
Herrin did to earn his third win of
the season.
Race two was Supersport
racing at its finest—close racing
and lead changes a-plenty. It
ultimately came down to a three-
way battle, with Yamalube Y.E.S.
Graves Yamaha's JD Beach
making use of the draft to take
the win over Herrin and his team-
mate Garrett Gerloff; the trio
separated by a mere hundredths
of a second.
