a little easy for me.
"The second moto I just
ripped the holeshot," Tomac
said. "It was cool not to see
anybody around me; I just had
fun. There were a lot of fun lines
out there. But basically I'm just
feeling comfortable on the track
right now."
A big part of his success right
now, he said, is being efficient
on the track and not using up
too much energy, "45 minutes is
a long time," he said.
Stall Warning
Dungey might have had a legiti-
mate reason for letting Tomac
catch him as quickly as the did
in the first moto. During he race,
Dungey began feeling that his
bike was gradually losing throttle
response; something wasn't
right with the bike's motor, and
that became clear when it quit
running as he approached a
turn—not in the turn, when most
bikes tend to stall, often times
due to rider error. But there was
no error in this case. This was
different. Dungey hit the starter
button and it eventually lit up
again but not before giving up
first place to Tomac. The real
damage, however, was done
when the bike stalled out again

Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawa-

a rough start—literally. In the first 250
moto, just a few yards off the gate,
he tangled handlebars with the two
riders next to him and got slammed
to the ground, putting him at the
back of the pack. But he rode well

fitness after being off the bike all of
Supercross with an injury. "The re-
covery process has been the hard-
est thing I've ever had to do even if
I'm not upfront right away," he said.
"I believe I have the speed…I believe
I will be."
After making the 250 podium for the
first time at Hangtown, Monster En-

Alldredge struggled a bit at Glen
