CN III VOICES L E T T E R S T O T H E E D I T O R What other form of motor racing do you have the possibility of losing count of the number of lead changes—per lap—at 100-plus miles per hour? Talking GNCC I guess things are back to normal in the GNCC uni- verse. Last race, Chris Bach and Honda comes out of nowhere to win by three min- utes and this week he is fifth and not close to the podium, crazy stuff. Congratulations to Kailub Russell for putting the last race behind him and starting a new streak. Preston Hannula Via The Internet Congrats to Ryan Sipes. I saw him in his first GNCC where he struggled to finish. Looks like he's figured it out and is now running up front. Go Flying Ryan! Jim Sheldon Via The Internet Springfield Mile— Real Racing I still say flat track racing is the undisputed king of motorized sports entertain- ment. Close second would be speedway. What other form of motor racing do you have the possibility of losing count of the number of lead changes—per lap—at 100-plus miles per hour? This, sports fans, is racing! Mac Mclemore Via The Internet Who Can Stop Tomac? Eli Tomac has hit his prime. He's the new "fastest man on the planet." The only per- son that can stop Tomac is Tomac. If he can continue to get good starts, stay healthy, stay off the ground and not have mechanical issues like Ryan Dungey did [at Glen Helen], he is faster than everyone else. That's a lot of ifs, though. Dungey seemed to match his speed for a while, but Tomac did track him down from behind. Dungey's stall made the pass easy. Terry Heath Via The Internet He [Eli Tomac] showed us what he was capable of at the last Des Nations race; I think he would have won if he didn't stall his bike. I would love to see a field of Dungey, Canard, Roczen, Stewart, Tomac and RV, wow! I might have to put my money on Eli, he looks awesome. Still wondering how many more years Marvin Musquin will ride the 250 class; one would think after eight years he might move up. James Bunn Via The Internet This is Musquin's last year in the 250 class, he's mov- ing up to the 450s at the conclusion of the outdoor Nationals….Editor Letters to the editor can be sent to voices@cyclenews.com.
