P118 CN III PRODUCT REVIEW FOX FLEXAIR RACEWEAR LIST PRICE: $209.95, Jersey $84.95 Website: Foxhead.com/FLEXAIR Standout Feature Lightweight and four-way stretch fabric Rider Analysis When you pick up Fox's new FLEXAIR Racewear for the first time, you immediately notice the weight, or lack of it. The pants and jersey are indeed noticeably light. Not only do they feel light when holding them in your hand but also when worn, and we were immediately impressed by how comfortable and unrestrictive they were. Out on the track the new pant material works as advertised—they continue to have that lightweight feel, while providing excellent ventilation and flex. We felt more restriction from our knee braces than the pants themselves! Fox put a lot of emphasis on the new pant design, but the FLEXAIR jersey is just as impressive. It too is very light, is well ventilated and is the most comfortable jersey we've ever worn. Period. The material stretches with your body—in every direction— while you're on the bike. You hardly know you're wearing a jersey at all. As far as reliability, the gear does seem to be well built and should be durable (after all, its been tested for a long time), but the verdict is not out yet, not until we get more time wearing it. Fox introduced the gear to the media just last week. So far, however, we have no real complaints, but we hope you like the colors red and blue, because this is the only color combo available so far. We feel the gear looks good in person, but a little plain. This gear is begging for logos to be added on both the pants and jersey, luckily, there is plenty of room for that, especially a name and number on the back of the jersey. FLEXAIR is Fox's latest high-performance racewear for motocross. Fox says it has been secretly developing and testing the FLEXAIR for the past three years, and recently worn by Ken Roczen and Ryan Dungey, disguised as the brand's 360 racewear. The FLEXAIR gear features durable, lightweight, four-way stretch Fox TruMotion fabric chassis. The Fox FLEXAIR jersey, heavily influenced by sponsored rider Ryan Dungey, is lightweight (weighing just six ounces) and designed to stretch with you in every direction and keep you cool with Fox's TruDri moisture transfer performance fabric technology. Fox considers the FLEXAIR gear its top-of-the line MX gear and its retail price reflects that.
