STORY AND PHOTOGRAPHY BY SHAN MOORE
K
ailub Russell is adjusting quite well
to the Kenda AMA National Enduro
Series format. After three succes-
sive runner-up finishes, the FMF/KTM
rider finally claimed his first National
Enduro win of his career. It came at the
Lead Belt National in Missouri.
Heavy rains the night before the event
and during the morning of the race left
parts of the course quite muddy, much
of it was very rideable and the sun came
out in the afternoon drying other parts of
the beautiful single-track trail used by the
Missouri Mudders in St. Joe Park near
Park Hills. In fact, the club did a magnifi-
cent job with the event and everything
went off smoothly.
