he's beatable. At Hangtown, he
showed what he can do with two
good starts and it was impres-
sive.
After the race Tomac said
that he felt "connected" with his
GEICO Honda CRF450R and
"was riding at a comfortable
pace," but admitted that he was
a little surprised by how soundly
he beat the field.
"This day was unbelievable,"
Tomac said. "I really can't be-

"My GEICO Honda was
amazing today," Tomac added.
"I was able to hold on the
whole moto like I wanted to.
My starts were really key; I was
able to stay clean and out in
front in the fresh air."
The question now is, can he
keep riding like this and stay
away from, in his words, "goofy
mistakes and little tip-overs,"
which plagued him throughout
much of this year's Supercross
Championship. His competitors
certainly hope not.
