P130 CN III PRODUCT REVIEW AGV SPORT TRACER LEATHER JACKET LIST PRICE: $279 Website: www.motonation.com Standout Feature Amazing comfort over a full day in the saddle Rider Analysis It's nice when you get a pleasant surprise every now and then. I'll admit to not expecting much from the Tracer jacket—it's priced a fair bit cheaper than some of the other jackets on the market, but after nearly a month riding in it, I absolutely love it. The Tracer doesn't look like a bike jacket—I've worn it out to bars and social gigs just as much as I have on the bike. The worn appearance and the soft buffalo leather make for a seriously comfortable jacket, and I'm a big fan on the discreet padding that doesn't make me look like a linebacker. Another thing I love about the Tracer is it has zippers that look like they might last as long as the leather. The chunky YKK zips are a real standout—so many companies cheap out and give you dodgy zippers with a $500 jacket—the AGV Sport Tracer doesn't. The Tracer doesn't offer the best protection against the cold but on the other side it seems to breath quite nicely on hot days. On colder ones I just wore a hoodie underneath—I tend to get rid of inner liners pretty quickly as they make me sweat, but the inner on the Tracer is one of the better ones out there for heat dissipation. I haven't worn it in rain yet, but I'm not expecting it will take a lot of punishment before the water seeps through. Regardless, this is a really good jacket. It looks good; it's comfortable and one that's now on my permanent rotation. Rennie Scaysbrook The AGV Sport Tracer leather jacket is AGV Sport's cruiser/nakedbike style street jacket is made using premium grade 1.2mm buffalo leather. The jacket features multiple stitching construction to minimize the chances of the jacket coming apart in the event of an accident; padded neoprene is present in the collar for all-day comfort, and there's removable CE-approved shoulder and elbow protectors. There's also a 10mm thick back pad, but it's not what we'd call a back protector. The jacket features rugged YKK zippers and there's also front hand warmer pockets with zipper closures, as well as three interior pockets and an antique-finished buckle for waist adjustment on the sides of the jacket.
