The surprise of the weekend
was the appearance of Daytona
200 winner Danny Eslick. Eslick
raced an ex-Chris Ulrich Honda
Superbike for TTR Honda and in
spite of running his first Super-
bike race in two years (and his
first time on a Honda), Eslick
came away with a 4-5. He actu-
ally beat the factory Suzuki of
Lewis in the first leg.
Chris Ulrich was the best of
the rest in the Superbike class,
scoring a pair of sixth-place
results on his GEICO Suzuki.
Ulrich considered his results at
VIR not bad considering he was
still a bit shaky after throwing
