n astounding start to the sea-
son delivered by Kawasaki
Racing Team's Jonathan Rea,
accentuated with two large doses of
winning at the classic circuit of Imo-
la, continue to amaze all who watch.
At Imola there were a claimed
65,005 people over the race
weekend to see Rea make a steady
start and then get faster and faster,
overcoming a red-flagged and then
restarted sprint of six laps in race
one, then pulling away from his one
competitor in race two.
You have to work hard at Imola,
mentally and physically—and Rea
did that yet again, but his opening
season stats are astounding. They
do not make for great racing, not
this weekend at least, but they can-
not fail to impress. After his 150th
