Haaker and Webb had the
near capacity crowd on its feet
for much of the race as the two
standout EnduroCross racers
battled for the win from lap one
on. At times, the two rubbed
elbows and traded paint, but
Haaker held his ground and
never let go of the point position
after getting off to a fast start.

The 10-lap main event started off
with Haaker nabbing the hole-
shot and his Rockstar Energy
Racing Husqvarna teammate
Mike Brown, the previous round
winner in Salt Lake, settling into
second, with the number-one
plate holder, Webb, holding
down third on the FMF/RPM
Team Maxxis KTM. It was the
race everyone had been wait-
ing for, with the top three riders
in the series starting up front—
Haaker vs. Brown vs. Webb.
Brown, however, abandoned
his chance for the win when he
dropped his bike in the wood
pit just a few laps in, setting the
stage for a Haaker/Webb shoot-
