MOTOCROSS FIM MOTOCROSS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 5 / APRIL 25-26, 2015 VALKENSWAARD CIRCUIT / VALKENSWAARD, HOLLAND P70 fans singing the national anthem is something you cannot buy," Paulin said. "It's something that just a win can bring. I'm really happy to feel that again today as it is something really, really cool and this is what we do all the work for. It's been a great race, especially when you dominate the weekend—qualifying win, first moto win, second moto win—it's just been a perfect weekend." Points leader, Husqvarna's Max Nagl was second overall with 2-2 moto finishes, followed by Suzuki's Clement Desalle with a 4-3. Desalle prevented two Hondas from being on the podium after nipping Paulin's teammate Russian Evgeny Bo- bryshev at the finish line in the second moto. The two traded 4-3 moto scores, with DasAlle coming out on top via his better second-moto finish. It wasn't a good weekend for defending champ Antonio Cairoli who suffered a hard get-off in the first moto, which affected him in the second moto. "I came off on one jump in the first moto and I hit my head a bit, and my wrist, but luckily nothing bad," Cairoli said. "In the second moto, I started well, but after a few laps, I got a strange feeling in my hand and, for most of the 25 minutes, I could only ride with one hand. It was very risky in some places and very difficult. I don't think it's anything serious but we are going to check and we have a couple of weeks to rest." Cairoli went DNF-11 on the day but is still third in the champion- ship. In MX2 action, Red Bull KTM's Jeffrey Herlings chalked up his sixth victory at Valkenswaard Jeffery Herlings won both MX2 motos despite falling in the second moto. "It's good to have won here again, but the sixth time, it wasn't easy," Herlings said. "I had a pretty good start in the first moto and stayed out of trouble. But I didn't have a good start in the second moto. I had a small crash and I had to come back from the middle of the pack. So I made it a little tough for myself. But I worked my way up to the front and won, so that was good." CN
