SUPERCROSS MONSTER ENERGY AMA SUPERCROSS SERIES, AN FIM WORLD ROUND 16 / APRIL 25, 2015 METLIFE STADIUM / EAST RUTHERFORD, NEW JERSEY P64 out there. The track was pretty technical tonight and pretty much the hardest track of the year for sure, hands down. Super rutted and really technical." Short grabbed another one of his holeshots to start the race, but the BTO Sports KTM rider was back to fifth by lap three, which is where he finished. Late in the race, though, he got into a fierce battle with Soar- ing Eagle/RCH/Jimmy Johns/ Suzuki's Broc Tickle and on the final lap, Tickle and Short came into contact with each other. And while Shorty finished the race in fifth, he was in obvious pain when he rode up to the mechanic's area after the race. Early reports say that he might have broken his kneecap. Tickle held on for sixth, with Discount Tires/TwoTwo Motors- ports' Josh Grant finishing sev- enth ahead of fellow Kawasaki rider Kyle Chisholm. 250 EAST CLASS Musquin has been the class of the field in the East Regional 250 Supercross division since the first East race in Dallas. He came into the race with five wins and two second-place finishes. Even with a bad start, Mus- quin has been able to work his way to the front, no matter how difficult the track. Here, Musquin did most of his passing in the first turn. By the second turn, he was already in second place after a so-so jump. Musquin spent the next 10 laps following Bogle then de- cided to make his move. "Bogle was riding pretty good, but I knew I was better and faster," said Musquin. "I was looking for some areas where I was faster and I could pass, and I made it happen. He got me a little bit. I was like, 'maybe I should stay second,' but then I could see I was capable of winning that thing. So I pushed and made it happen. It's a great feeling." "I've dreamed so much about that number-one plate and now I have in my hands," added Musquin. "Right now I'm really happy, but it's kind of a weird feeling. I'm on such a great team, Red Bull KTM. The bike was great." As far as the race, everything went well for him—except one moment in his heat. "I had a great day, except that start in the heat," said Musquin. "I was going to turn inside and then somebody came in the inside really hard and just hit me
