CN III VOICES L E T T E R S T O T H E E D I T O R "The RV I want to remember would already be off the track with his helmet off." Villopoto Views I want to state my opinion on RV racing the 2015 MXGP Se- ries. The best thing RV could do is just come home! This isn't a rip on RV; he's one of the best to ever race a motocross bike. My concern is his legacy and his future in the sport, some how he's made a really bad decision. Over the past couple few seasons, RV has stated he's tired of the sport, it's not fun anymore, it's a job. Why does every top rider in the sport with the exception of RC wait till they ride off the prover- bial cliff before retiring? Why live the rest of your life with the your recent memory being you couldn't do it anymore? The top riders, up and com- ers, the really hungry riders rise to the top, all others sink down. It's just a matter of how far before they cut their losses. RV was one of the best to ever race, now he's over there fumbling around. RV should be smoking those guys if his heart was really in it, if he was hungry. As we all can see, if you're not at your best and willing to give and do anything, winning a title is not so easy. The RV I want to remember would already be off the track with his helmet off. There are a lot of really good jobs in the industry for those of RV's stature (after racing)….or you can just walk away, enjoy a new life journey. I was curious to see what would happen with RV over there. Now it's apparent what is happening, RV said it himself, he should have listened to himself. He said he's not having fun racing anymore. It shows. Gordy Huse Fullerton, Ca. RV2 has raced only four outdoor races in the last three years. He appears to have lost his fitness and with it his drive and concentration. He will pull out of the next race, if he does compete. Tailbone injuries are extremely painful. I hope RV2 gets well soon, but I too think he may be done with MX. Jim Bunch Via the Internet Turns out the GP's were harder than expected. Maybe he'll change his mind, chalk it up as a learning experience and go back for a second try in 2016. Joe Bold Via the Internet The Rossi/Marquez Incident Valentino Rossi is a cheat. Look at the footage. Rossi looks over his shoulder to con- firm Marc Marquez is outside his rear wheel and then hits the throttle hard to slide his rear wheel into Marquez's front wheel causing him (Marquez) to crash. Not the first time Rossi has done this sort of thing and it won't be the last. Dean Westbury Gold Coast, Australia Strange Times Millsaps let go, Stewart sus- pended, Buell goes bust again, Villopoto racing GPs and not dominating. What the hell is happening!?
