Paulin was pretty much un-
stoppable in the deep sand
that makes up the Valkenswaard
Circuit in Holland, with the
Frenchman dominating round
five of the FIM Motocross World
Championship at the Grand Prix
of Europe. Red Bull KTM's Jef-
frey Herlings pretty much did the
same in the MX2 division.
But before anyone took to the
track, big news came out of the
Monster Energy Kawasaki camp
that its star rider Ryan Villopoto
would not be suiting up for this
one, the result of his big crash
the weekend before in Italy.
The fall left him with a cracked
tailbone.
"We took this week to set up
the bike, try to recover as much
as we could, but it's still a prob-
lem to sit down," Villopoto said.
"To race a track like Valken-
swaard would be tough for me
on a good day, so I think it's best
for us to leave this one out and
hopefully come back in Spain in
two weeks and be able to race
hard. We feel that racing this
