VOL. 52 ISSUE 16 APRIL 21, 2015 P25 that Millsaps has not—and could not have—failed any WADA drug tests. Some sources have indicated on a condition of anonymity that Millsaps maintains that he has/had a prescription for what was found, but other sources have indicated that couldn't be proven. The 27-year-old Millsaps has indicated that he'd like to find a new home in the AMA Pro pits in order to continue his largely successful racing career, which recently saw him win the 2014 Monster Energy Cup in his debut ride for the Monster Energy Kawasaki team, as well as finish second overall in the 2012 and 2013 450cc Supercross Cham- pionships. Unfortunately, we don't know if this is where this story ends, as WADA and USADA have a history of launching investiga- tions that often lead to sanctions against athletes without requiring that they actually fail a drug test. This is referred to as a "non-ana- lytical positive," meaning that the athlete isn't, or can't be, found "guilty" due to direct evidence of doping (such as failing an actual drug test), but is instead deter- mined to be guilty of doping on the basis of other facts suggest- ing use, which could range from written admissions of doping all the way down to testimony from people close to the situation. Steve Cox TOMAC TO KAWASAKI? A ll indications are that Eli Tomac is signed, sealed, and will be delivered to the Monster Energy Kawasaki team at the conclusion of the 2015 AMA racing season. This deal was reportedly done prior to the discovery that led to the ter- mination of Davi Millsaps' contract with the team. Despite his motorcycle being outfit- ted in GEICO Honda colors the past couple of years, Tomac has had access to everything the factory Honda racing team does, and has even been pitting directly out of the factory Honda rig all year, so this will essentially be a transi- tion from factory Honda to factory Ka- wasaki for the Colorado native, who will be turning 23 prior to the 2016 AMA Supercross season. The Honda factory team is already filled by solid riders, with Trey Canard and Cole Seely, who recently won his first Supercross at Houston. Steve Cox All signs point to Eli Tomac heading to the Monster Energy Kawasaki Team in 2016.
