HAYDEN TURNS 200
A
spar Team Honda's Nicky Hayden became the
first American to reach the milestone of 200
MotoGP starts in front of the home crowd at the
Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, April 12.
To celebrate that milestone, the pre-race press
conference was kicked off with Hayden's mom
Rose bringing Nicky a cake and a sign; his dad
Earl also joined in for the celebration.
"Well, it doesn't really feel like 200," Nicky said.
"It has been a long time."
Hayden, the middle child of Hayden clan, was
humble about the achievement.
