rank rookie Jack Miller (in his
second) were joined by AB
Honda's Karel Abraham, with
Alvaro Bautista on the Aprilia
nipping at his heels.
Abraham retired with a bro-
ken gear lever; while Hayden
on the Power Electronics
Honda had his hands full with
the youngster, who got in
front several times. He was
less than three tenths behind
as they crossed the line 13th
and 14th, and Bautista less
than a second away for the
returned Aprilia's first point.
Hayden enjoyed the effort,
after a poor start and a brief
power-down glitch in the first
corner.
"I pushed hard and made
up quite a few positions,"
Hayden said. "Then had a
nice fight with a bunch of
guys, which I won to take
some points. That was a small
victory."
Miller was likewise all
