OFF ROAD ROCKY MOUNTAIN MC WORLD OFF-ROAD CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES, ROUND 3/MARCH 1, 2015 CANYON MX/LAKE HAVASU CITY, ARIZONA P108 circuit with its loose sand and gravel, which gives way to deep ruts and whoops. The race is also known for its Lagoon Jump, which was really tamed down this year com- pared to years past, but one of the biggest challenges this weekend was the near-record heat with temps approaching triple digits. Without a starting gate, the race was a dead- engine start, and Red Bull/KTM's Ivan Ramirez grabbed the holeshot followed by Travis Coy on the RPM/KTM and Bell on the Precision Con- cept Kawasaki. Before the end of the first lap, Bell had already charged his way into the lead. "I got a good jump, but Ivan got the holeshot, and Travis Coy was really aggressive with the in- side and made a really good move and pushed me wide," Bell said. "But I was able to get Tra- vis and Ivan pretty quick and get into the lead." (Above) Robby Bell (32) gets around Eric Yorba en route to another victory. (Right) Justin Jones (3) looks for a way past Ramirez. Jones went on to finish second.
