TEAM UP IN DETROIT
March. Until now.
At Detroit's Ford Field, GEICO
Honda teammates Eli Tomac
and Justin Bogle finally beat the
orange crew at their own game
by sweeping the top step of
the podium, each one taking a
relatively easy-looking win over
their championship rivals in their
respective classes. The GEICO
crew is hoping March will go out
like a lamb for the KTM team,
but that's not likely.
In the big picture, little damage
was done to either KTM riders.
Both Dungey and Musquin still
enjoy comfortable leads in their
championships, especially for
Dungey who now commands a
massive 67-point lead in the 450
class and is on the brink of wrap-
ping up a second Supercross
title, while Musquin is holding a
more cautious 13-point lead over
Bogle in the 250 East class with
just three rounds to go.
