IN THE WIND P32 APRILIAS DEBUT AT DAYTONA A long with the range of new Moto Guzzi machines on dis- play at Daytona, Piaggio Group Americas also unveiled three new pre-production Aprilias—the limited edition RSV4 RF, Tuono V4 1100 Factory and the Ca- ponord 1200 Rally. In what is fast being dubbed the 'Year of the Superbike' Aprilia, like Yamaha and Ducati, will be offering two versions of its WSBK- winning RSV4 in the RR and this, the RF. The RF will be limited to 400 units worldwide and comes standard with the Aprilia Race Pack that includes lightweight forged aluminum wheels and Öhlins suspension. You'll still get the face-slapping 201hp V4 engine, which is 17 hp up on last year's RSV4 Factory, a 14mm longer swingarm and the full suite of electronic rider aids in the aPRC (Aprilia Performance Riding Control) system. The RSV4 RF will go on sale at US dealerships in June at an MSRP of $21,999 in Superpole graphics. The Tuono V4 Factory is also a new model for 2015. It comes with an extra 100cc over the 2014 Tuono V4 R ABS machine and now punches out a stellar 175 hp and 120Nm of torque. An improved chassis and refined aPRC settings, as well as the same Superpole graphics of the RSV4 RF, will make this naked one to watch in 2015. It'll hit dealer floors in May at an MSRP of $16,299. Finally, the Caponord Rally will form a strong point in the Aprilia lineup for 2015. As the adven- ture market continues to soar, Aprilia is delivering a machine that comes standard with many of the features other manufacturers have as factory options. These include Aprilia Cruise Control (ACC), Aprilia Traction Control (ATC) and the highly anticipated Aprilia Damping Control (ADD). Also included are hard bags, hand and side guards, LED lights, two channel ABS and 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked wheels. The Caponord 1200 Rally will be ready for you at an Aprilia dealership in May in the Matte Green color option for $15,699.
