really all it was. My starts have
been good and I've been rid-
ing good, but I just needed to
go out there and have fun and
remember I can do this. I have
a number one on my bike for a
reason."
The Detroit course was one
of the trickier ones so far, and
Musquin decided to not take too
many chances and settled for a
safe second, afterward admitting
that he wasn't exactly comfort-
able on the course.
"[After the start I got], for
sure, you have to be aggressive
to make some passes," said
Musquin. "On the first lap, in that
rhythm section, I was so close
to those Tuff Blocks, and it was
tight and everyone was going for
it, trying to make passes.
"It was very tough and you
have to be safe, because if you
go down you lose too many
points. I had to be safe and
make some good passes, and
then I finally saw Justin up front
and I thought, 'oh boy, tonight
is going to be tough to win.' But
when you win three races in a
row and four out of five, then
second place is hard to take.
But I have to be happy, [since]
I was not too confident on that
track."
