By this time, Musquin had lost
sight of Bogle, who had built up
an insurmountable eight-second
lead.
Hampshire's fast start was
erased when Martin Davalos,
on the Rockstar Energy Rac-
ing Husqvarna, put him on the
ground and into near last place.
"Bad luck is going to come
[and] whenever it does," Hamp-
shire said, "you just have to
make the best of [it]. It was the
best I've felt all season. Actually,
on the nights I feel the worst I
have good luck, but then I feel
great and have a little bad luck."
Bogle, meanwhile, was still
extending his lead but backed it
off a bit the last couple of laps,
taking the checkered flag six
seconds ahead of Musquin.
"It feels good," Bogle said
of getting the win. "That felt as
good as my first win ever. Flaw-
less race; my GEICO Honda was
incredible. I got the holeshot and
put in solid laps the whole time.
I drilled all my lines; I felt good
and rode my own race. I didn't
focus on anything else.
"I had fun tonight," Bogle
added. "That's kind of what
changed. I just started having
fun and swagging out. That's
