WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
VOL. 52 ISSUE 11 MARCH 17, 2015 P73
Briefly...
was a good night for me. The track
definitely had me a little tight and
nervous. I had that sketchy feeling,
which isn't always good, but I'm glad
to get through this and move on to
the next race."
Josh Grant had a solid finish of sev-
enth after contact with his teammate
and boss Chad Reed in the final.
"I got a decent start and going into
a rhythm section Chad ended up
getting into the back of my wheel,"
Grant explained. "He ended up fall-
ing down, which was unfortunate.
Strangely enough, him hitting me
kind of helped me get through the
corner. I was turning tight and kind of
stopped trying to get through there
and Chad's wheel kind of pushed the
bike around and helped me out. It
sucked for him. I struggled with bike
setup and went the wrong direction.
I rode tight all night. Unfortunately
I let two guys go by me. I felt like I
should have had a top five tonight.
Shorty and Davi are the guys I've
been battling week after week and
unfortunately I didn't get those posi-
tions tonight."
Yoshimura Suzuki's Blake Baggett
suffered his worst result of the year,
a 15th after crashing and getting
pinned under his bike. "I just made
a mistake, caught a rock and went
down," Baggett explained. "I was
stuck under the bike for a whole lap
and just had to wait until someone
came over and got it off me. The
whole time the bike was still running
and the chain was grinding away on
me and I was pinned down. I got up
and was a lap down and did the best
I could."
